What does "all-natural" or "natural" actually mean?

The term "natural" is not universally regulated in the skincare industry. Generally, it implies products made with plant-based and mineral-derived ingredients with minimal chemical modification. It's important to read the ingredient list to ensure it meets your expectations. Skin Therapy products are hand-crafted in small batches using high quality, multi-functional natural ingredients without chemical modification, just as nature intended.

Are natural products safer or better for sensitive skin?

Not necessarily. While natural products often avoid harsh synthetic chemicals like parabens or sulphates which can be irritants, some natural ingredients (like certain essential oils or plant extracts) can also cause allergic reactions or skin sensitivities in some individuals. It's always recommended to perform a patch test before full use, especially if you have sensitive skin.

What is the shelf life of natural products?

Due to less reliance on strong chemical preservatives, our products may have a shorter shelf life than conventional options. Unopened, they will last about 12 months, and once opened, generally 6+ months.

Why has the colour of my bath and body product changed?

Discoloration in all-natural bath and body products is common and generally safe, primarily due to the natural variability of ingredients and their sensitivity to environmental factors like light, heat, and air (oxidation). This does not affect the product's efficacy.

Do you ship outside of New Zealand?

Currently, we only offer shipping within New Zealand.

This decision allows us to maintain the high standard of service and quality you expect from us. Shipping internationally involves navigating complex customs regulations, varying tax laws, and significantly higher operational costs and risks, which our small team is not equipped to manage effectively at this stage.
